POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports the manufacturing operations by providing QC technical support in controlling the processes ,and assuring customer and government requirement are met .Performs a major role in day-to-day problem solving, and helps to provide the PFMEA and Control Plans for their responsible areas.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related technical discipline and three to five(3-5)years professional engineering experience in Quality Control/Assurance Product Reliability and laboratory test procedures. ASQC certification preferred .Must have a working knowledge of computers and their industrial application preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establishes Quality Assurance Procedures for that ensure produced items conform to pre-established standards and that product capability parameters are maintained at their inherent design level during the pilot and production phases;
2. Implements and maintains systems to control quality of production processes and audits product/systems;
3. Participates in planning and execution of problem solving studies to determine root causes, effects of problems, and monitors effectiveness of corrective action implementation. Uses statistical methods including design of experiments to assist in problem solving efforts;
4. Participates in quality improvement initiative through implementation and training of SPC, continuous improvement cycle(plan, do check, act),pareto Charts, and cause and effects diagrams, hitograms, control charts, scatter diagrams, checklists, and other statistical tools;
5. Reports quality information such as TEST RESULTS Cpk indices,etc,to management;
6. Performs gauge and process capability studies on assembly processes to quantify repeatability, reproducibility, statistical control, etc, as directed;
7. Participates in the material review process and assists in maintaining a system for scrap accounting, disposal, and use of written documentation for rework;
8. Confers with and works with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems relative to products’designs,specifications,materials,tooling,and production operations affecting quality.
9. Assists product inspection/test.
10. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
